X ~ Xenophobe to Xylophone

Xenophobia  ˌzenəˈfoʊbi:ə  noun

Intense or irrational dislike or fear of people from other countries.

In Australia dislike mostly applies, despite a population comprising 30% foreign born and 50% of foreign-born parents. Sociologists are confounded.

As is, at a more fundamental level, the beloved founder of the One Nation political party and national treasure, Pauline Hanson, who achieved social immortality by responding to a journalist's enquiry "Are you xenophobic?" with the reply, quick as a flash, in perfectly enunciated Strine, "Puleeze ecksplane!"
